Our Visitation Services
Our mission is to provide a safe, neutral, and child-focused environment where families can maintain relationships through supervised visitations and monitored exchanges. We are committed to upholding the physical and emotional safety of all clients.
What are Supervised Visits?
Legal Terminology
Custodial Parent (CP): The parent (or parents, in joint custody situations) designated by the court to make major decisions regarding a child’s care. Each state may use a different term for this.
Non-custodial Parent (NCP): The parent that has not been granted legal custody of the child(ren).
Intake Process

Referral/Initial Contact: Referral from the court, attorney, or therapist

Inquiry and Information Gathering: Agency provides overview of services, policies, and fees

Intake Application: Parents/guardians complete intake paperwork

Intake Interviews: Separate interviews with each parent/guardian

Documentation and Agreements: Parents sign consent forms and policy

Scheduling: Supervisor coordinates the visit schedule with both parties

First Visit: Supervisor monitors the initial visit

AnchorBridge Policies
Safe and Structured Visitation
Our mission is to provide a safe, neutral, and child-focused environment where families can maintain relationships through supervised visitations and monitored exchanges. We are committed to upholding the physical and emotional safety of all clients.
Confidentiality Policy

All client information, case files, and records are confidential.

Employees must not disclose client information without proper authorization or a legal obligation (e.g., court order).

Staff must sign a confidentiality agreement upon hire and annually thereafter.
Non-Discrimination Policy
The agency prohibits discrimination based on race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, or family status. All clients and employees will be treated with dignity and respect.
Staff Qualifications & Training

All visitation supervisors must pass background checks (including DOJ, FBI, and child abuse registries).

Staff must complete training in:

Child development

Domestic violence

Substance abuse
-
Crisis intervention
-
Documentation and reporting procedures

Ongoing training is required annually.
Client Intake Policy
-
Both parties (visiting and custodial) must complete intake forms.
-
A court order or attorney agreement must be provided before services begin.
-
Safety plans will be created if needed.
Visit Protocols
-
Visits will occur only at approved times and locations.
-
Supervisors must be present at all times during visits.
-
No physical discipline, whispering, or threats are allowed.
-
Supervisors may intervene and/or terminate the visit if any policy is violated.

All visits are documented in neutral, factual language.
Arrival & Departure Procedures

Staggered arrival and departure times will be enforced to prevent contact between custodial and non-custodial parties.

Exchange locations will be monitored.

Clients must arrive on time. Chronic lateness may result in service suspension.
Documentation & Reports

Detailed notes will be taken for each session, including:

Start/end times

Behavior of child and parties

Supervisor interventions
-
Any incidents
-
Reports are confidential but may be released upon receipt of a court order or written consent.
Prohibited Items and Behaviors
-
No weapons, alcohol, drugs, or tobacco are allowed on-site.
-
No video recording devices during visits.
-
Aggressive or threatening behavior will result in immediate termination of the session.
Payment Policy
-
Fees must be paid in advance or as specified in the agreement.
-
A 24-hour notice is required for cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee.
Emergency Procedures
-
Emergency contact information must be kept up-to-date.
-
In case of medical or behavioral emergencies, 911 will be called, and the custodial parent will be notified.
Neutrality
Supervisors remain impartial and do not take sides in family matters. Supervisors cannot provide legal advice or personal opinions regarding custody or family disputes.
Termination of Services
Services may be terminated for the following reasons:

Repeated policy violations

Failure to pay

Behavior that endangers the safety of any party

Court or legal directive
Technology & Communication Policy
-
Staff may not engage in personal communication with clients outside of official channels.

All communication between parents must go through the agency unless otherwise agreed or ordered.
-
Supervisors will not mediate disputes beyond the scope of the visitation.
